Denver / product pilot 01

Objects with a job to do.

VFD Labs is a Denver 3D-printing microbrand testing a small line of useful, original objects — things for your desk, your game night, and the people who make things happen.

DESIGN → PRINT → TEST
First run is intentionally small.
BUILD / 256³

Three directions.
One gets made.

These are product concepts under demand testing — not a giant catalog and not pretending to be in stock.

02 / TABLETOP

Tabletop Tray

An original catch-all for dice, tokens, keys, or the little pieces that always migrate off the table.

03 / DESK SYSTEM

Desk Dock

A small landing place for a phone, pen, or cable — with room for a Denver colorway or a name that makes it yours.

Don’t buy another printer. Find one thing people want.

The first run is a test, not a declaration of what VFD Labs is forever. We’ll make a few clean samples, put them in front of real people in Denver, and keep the one that earns a place in someone’s life — or a second order.

01

Choose the useful version

Start with a problem or ritual, not “what can the printer do?”

02

Print a small batch

Measure the real time, material, failure rate, and finish before setting a price.

03

Listen in public

Local makers, markets, and early adopters decide what deserves the next run.

Small by design.
Serious about the test.

One machine is enough to learn what earns the next machine.

Help pick what gets printed.

Leave a note if one of these is useful, if you want a different color or personalization, or if you have a better idea. This is a real product test — not a newsletter maze.

No payment. No spam. Just the first-drop test.
